Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency has a new permanent position available for a Senior Forensic Social to work Full Time based in Thornford Park, Berkshire for Elysium Healthcare.
The salary for this permanent Senior Forensic Social Worker job is up to £41,595 per annum.
Main duties:
- Lead the multi-disciplinary teams on non-medical mental capacity issues and best interest decisions.
- Liaising with external agencies to enable them to fulfil their statutory duties, for example: MAPPA, local Authority Social Services, Police and Probation.
- Supporting carers and families of detained patients.
- Working alongside the multi-disciplinary team, you will manage and support a caseload of up to 24 forensic service users with mental health conditions. You will be responsible for assessments, CPA reports, Mental Health Tribunals, Managers Hearings and will be requested junior staff members.
- As a senior member of the team, you will lead and promote child and adult safeguarding and will empower recovery to encourage service users to engage in their care plans and achieve their goals.
- Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will be supported regionally and will have access to a variety of training and online courses to support your career development and growth.

Requirements of this Senior Forensic Social Worker role:
- A Social Work Qualification or equivalent.
- Understanding of relevant legislation.
- Relevant Social Work experience.
