Sanctuary Personnel is seeking to recruit two Charge Nurses to join our client's multidisciplinary team. In this role, you will work under the supervision of the Clinical Services Manager, managing RMNs and support workers. They are looking for accomplished and experienced individuals with proven abilities in clinical leadership and resource management. Clinically based and patient-focused, you will inspire expert nursing and clinical treatment through best practice care.

Job Purpose:

  • Assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate care, communicate findings, influence change, and promote both mental and physical health and well-being.
  • Conduct comprehensive, systematic nursing assessments considering mental, physical, social, cultural, psychological, spiritual, and environmental factors.
  • Complete clinical audits monthly, quarterly, and annually.
  • Work collaboratively with other disciplines, service users, and their carers to develop holistic, recovery-focused, person-centred care and risk management plans.
  • Deliver and evaluate safe, competent person-centred care in partnership with the service user and their carers to support recovery.
  • Act as the primary nurse for allocated patients, planning, assessing, and evaluating patient programmes of care.
  • Adhere to medicines management requirements, ensuring prescriptions and forms meet professional standards.
  • Ensure patients are aware of their rights and maintain and protect these as required by legislation.
  • Provide support for patients in all aspects of their care and treatment.
  • Support the development of junior nursing colleagues through training, mentorship, and role modelling behaviours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide senior nursing leadership to the nursing team in support of the Clinical Services Manager.
  • Support the wider nursing team with your clinical and leadership expertise and confidence.
  • Commit to developing and delivering evidence-based, clinically effective treatment approaches, exceeding our client's expectations.
  • Manage a nursing team while maintaining high professional standards.
  • Respond flexibly to change and the developing needs of the service.
  • Deputise in the absence of the Clinical Services Manager when necessary, demonstrating a willingness to develop and expand your roles and responsibilities.
  • Serve as a role model for your peers, consistently demonstrating core priority values.

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Abilities:

  • Registered nurse with an active NMC PIN and at least 2 years of post-qualifying experience.
  • Relevant clinical experience.
  • Positive attitude and commitment to change, improvement, and quality.
  • Ability to develop and use flexible and innovative approaches to practice.
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
  • Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required).
  • Driving Licence (preferred).
