Sanctuary Personnel is currently seeking an experienced Band 6 Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to take on a new locum opportunity based in Bury, within the CAMHS Unit.
Location: Bury, Greater Manchester
Contract Type: Locum, ongoing block booking.
Pay Rate: £26 - £42 per hour (assignment rate)
- Days £26
- Nights/Saturdays £34-£35
- Sundays/Bank Holidays £42
Requirements of the Registered Mental Health Nurse:
- Degree or equivalent in Mental Health Nursing
- Proven experience as a Registered Mental Health Nurse
- Valid NMC Registration
- Skilled in assessing mental health and risk, managing crises, and de-escalating challenging behaviors.
- Knowledgeable in psychopharmacology and physical health monitoring for young patients.
- Strong in active listening, clear communication with patients, families, and teams, and accurate documentation.
- Proficient in delivering evidence-based therapies and managing challenging behaviors.
- Competent in suicide prevention, safeguarding, and conflict resolution.
- Capable of building trust and therapeutic relationships with young patients and their families.
- Able to handle the emotional demands and rapidly changing situations in a high-pressure environment.
- Familiar with mental health law, safeguarding, and ethical decision-making in child and adolescent ca
