Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Initial Response Team in adult social care by screening safeguarding referrals.
  • Make timely and informed decisions in line with the Care Act 2014 and the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
  • Participate in rapid response services with face-to-face visits to assess the needs and risks of adults.
  • Provide appropriate advice and support to adults at risk of abuse or neglect.
  • Triage incoming work to ensure referrals reach the most suitable service or team.
  • Collaborate closely with South Yorkshire Police to review DASH and Vulnerable Adults referrals.
