What you will do:
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to deliver integrated, evidence-based healthcare tailored to the needs of prisoners
- Assess the healthcare needs of inmates and develop, implement, and evaluate holistic care packages
- Play an essential role in healthcare promotion, assessment, treatment, and care evaluation within the prison setting
- Ensure efficient and effective healthcare delivery in this secure environment, promoting safety and well-being for all
Requirements of the Prison Advanced Nurse Practitioner:
- Must be a Registered Advanced Nurse Practitioner with a relevant qualification and a valid NMC pin free of restrictions
- At least 2 years of recent post-registration experience as a Registered Nurse
- Experience in Primary or General Healthcare
- Previous prison experience and current prison clearance are desirable but not essential
