What you will do:
- Assess the needs of service users to optimise independence and physical function, focusing on symptom control
- Create comprehensive physiotherapy plans for families and carers as part of overall care strategies
- Encourage choice and enhancement in clinical practice, enabling service user feedback to be expressed and addressed
- Collaborate with health and social care professionals and volunteers in planning and delivering physiotherapy
- Ensure the prescription, provision, and maintenance of equipment within available resources
- Maintain accurate written and electronic records in line with professional standards
- Lead and promote clinical supervision, sharing your wealth of knowledge with others through teaching
- Facilitate the safe and smooth operation of the service, maintaining a secure environment and occasionally embracing additional tasks.
About you:
- Hold a Diploma/BSc in Physiotherapy
- Certified with the Health & Care Professions Council
- Registered with your professional body such as CSP
- Demonstrated commitment to continued professional development
- Skilled in evidence-based practice and outcome measurement
- Proficient in physiotherapy assessments and interventions, using clinical reasoning
- Autonomous worker with the ability to prioritise tasks for yourself and others
- Competent in assessing and managing risk related to physical performance
