What you will do:
- Dispense medications: Accurately prepare and dispense prescriptions to patients, ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.
- Patient counselling: Provide valuable advice to patients regarding the safe and effective use of their medications.
- Stock management: Oversee the inventory of pharmaceutical stock, ensuring adequate levels are maintained and expired items are appropriately disposed of.
- Assist pharmacists: Work closely with pharmacists to support clinical services and comprehensive patient care.
- Quality assurance: Maintain high standards of practice by adhering to protocols and guidelines to deliver excellent pharmaceutical care.
Requirements of the Pharmacy Technician:
- GPHC Registration
- Previous experience within a UK based Pharmacy setting
- NVQ or equivalent – Pharmacy Technician qualification
