What you will do:
- Prepare and dispense chemotherapy and oncology-related medications, ensuring precision and adherence to aseptic techniques.
- Counsel patients on their cancer treatments regarding side effects, medication regimens, and drug interactions.
- Clinically verify oncology prescriptions to confirm the correct doses, routes, and schedules are tailored to individual patient needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including oncologists and nurses, to optimize personalized treatment plans for cancer patients.
- Monitor patient progress, managing medication adjustments, and ensuring strict compliance with safety protocols for cytotoxic medications. Also, offer training to staff on oncology pharmacy practices.
- HCPC registration is needed for this role, ensuring you are fully qualified and recognised to deliver the best care possible in the oncology field.

You will need at least 2 years of experience in pharmacy practice, and it is preferable that you are a car driver to facilitate travel if necessary.
