What you will do:

- Prepare and dispense sterile products such as intravenous (IV) medications, chemotherapy agents, parenteral nutrition, and other injectables following strict aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and product integrity.

- Ensure that all aseptic processes comply with UK regulations, including the Medicines Act 1968, UK Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), and relevant guidance from the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS) and National Health Service (NHS).

- Supervise and maintain the cleanliness and sterility of the aseptic preparation area, ensuring that all equipment, environment, and processes adhere to infection control and hygiene standards.

- Provide expert advice to medical and nursing staff regarding the appropriate use of sterile products, including dosage adjustments, drug interactions, and potential side effects.

- Train and supervise pharmacy assistants and junior staff in aseptic preparation techniques and safe handling of sterile products, ensuring that all team members adhere to best practices and regulatory requirements.
