Sanctuary Personnel is currently seeking an experienced Paediatric Neurodevelopmental Nurse (RMN) to take on a new locum opportunity based in Birmingham, within the ADOS team.
Location: Birmingham. Will be working with clients at bases/children centres, however must have own transport & be prepared to travel to meet service needs.
Contract Type: ASAP for an initial 12-week period. Possibility of extension.
Working Hours: Full Time (Mon-Friday, 9am-5pm. Part time and flexible working will be considered).
Pay Rate: £35-£45 per hour (assignment rate).
Main Duties:
- Work as part of multidisciplinary and multi-agency teams to deliver highly specialist interventions according to the agreed service packages of care and pathways.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with parents / carers and other stakeholders, using highly developed negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Maintain, develop and promote excellence in clinical practice within the specialist area of the service, with reference to current research and evidence-based practice, contributing to safe effective practice in the specialist clinical area.
Requirements of the Registered Mental Health Nurse:
- Degree or equivalent in Mental Health Nursing
- Proven experience as a Registered Mental Health Nurse
- Valid NMC Registration
- Professionals with Paediatric ASD/ADOS experience
