Job Title: Social Worker - Front Door Team
Location: Barnet, UK
Salary: £32.00 per hour
Contract Type: Ongoing, Full-time, 36 hours per week
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and committed Social Worker to join the Social Care Direct Team in Barnet. You will be at the forefront of initial enquiries about social care, providing essential guidance and support to adults with care and support needs.

What You Will Do:
- Conduct and review assessments of adults' care and support needs, ensuring person-centred planning that includes the individual’s family, friends, and community.
- Provide high-quality information, advice, and support to help adults regain or enhance their independence.
- Deliver professional social work services in compliance with the Council's legal responsibilities, policies, and guidelines specific to social care.
- Undertake complex assessments of care needs, risks, and mental capacity, using your expertise to support individuals requiring professional intervention.
- Identify issues at an early stage to provide focused, effective interventions in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
Ideal Candidate:
- A minimum of four years’ experience as a social worker, with a strong understanding of strength-based approaches.
- Familiarity with the Mosaic system is preferred.
- Expertise in delivering short-term interventions, while ensuring high-quality care in line with divisional policies and guidelines.
