An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Assessment and Child Protection Team for an Assistant Team Manager. This full-time position runs from 09:00 to 17:00 and offers great training and development opportunities. As a pivotal part of the team, you'll play a key role in making impactful decisions for children's safety and welfare. We're aiming to interview on Wednesday 11th (from 12:30 pm) and Thursday afternoons, so prompt submissions are encouraged.

What you will do:
- Collaborate with three other Assistant Team Managers in the Assessment and Child Protection Team to assess new referrals.
- Lead your team during duty weeks to perform timely assessments of risk and need.
- Work in a dynamic environment to make swift and secure decisions under pressure.
- Contribute to team meetings and help shape strategies for improving service delivery.
- Support and supervise staff, ideally leveraging your experience in Front Door Child Protection.
