Location: Brighton
Contract Type: Locum ongoing contract. Full time or part time will be considered.
Pay Rate: £25 per hour (assignment rate)

Duties:
- Work effectively as a team member in providing and facilitating a high standard of care
- Offering advice support and education on healthcare to both patients and carers. To use clinical expertise to be able to support a&e staff in the patient pathway to facilitate rapid discharge and prevent hospital admission
- Undertake a holistic assessment of all the patients’ needs and understand the routes for escalating issues that are not directly resolved by own professional practice
- Work collaboratively with the integrated discharge team (idt) and a&e staff in supporting discharges and the flow of patients through the acute floor, to prevent hospital admission
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist/Physiotherapist:
- Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy/Physiotherapy
- Recent UK experience working as an Occupational Therapist/Physiotherapist
- Recent NHS experience
- Registered with the HCPC
