The salary for this permanent Occupational Therapist job is £30,000 - £35,000 per annum.

Main Duties:

  • Enhance assessment practices for evaluating health and wellbeing needs.

  • Advance approaches to addressing patients' health and wellbeing requirements.

  • Effectively communicate complex, sensitive, or contentious information.

  • Expand knowledge and skills within your area of expertise.

  • Foster a work environment and culture that prioritises health, safety, and security.

  • Drive service development and improvement initiatives.

  • Focus on enhancing quality across practices.

  • Advocate for and support individuals in exercising their rights, while promoting equality and diversity.

  • Lead and mentor others in developing new knowledge, ideas, and work practices.

  • Utilise technology for the accurate measurement, monitoring, and treatment of patients.

Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy (BSc Hons) or equivalent.

  • Registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC).

  • Post-Graduate Diploma in a specialist programme.

  • Post-graduate experience in a relevant specialism.

  • Experience in post-operative hand splinting.

  • Proven experience in clinical leadership, including mentoring and developing peers.

  • Strong clinical reasoning skills applied to complex and varied caseloads.

  • Experience working collaboratively with consultants and contributing to innovative service solutions.
