What you will do:
- Communicate effectively with a range of clinicians, managers, directors, people who access services, carers, supporters, families, stakeholders, and agencies
- Provide compassionate and effective leadership to junior staff including support staff and assistants
- Ensure the delivery of occupational therapy student placements
- Support the completion of appraisals and personal development plans with junior staff
- Be responsible for the development and implementation of appropriate policies, protocols, and care pathways
To be a successful Occupational Therapist you will need:
- Occupational Therapy profession qualification
- Relevant clinical experience with adults who have complex needs
- Experience applying occupational frames of reference and approaches
- Evidence of highly effective clinical reasoning skills
- Knowledge of relevant assessment and treatment models
- Knowledge of working with individuals with mental illness
