What you will do:
- Assess and manage adult inpatients experiencing acquired swallowing and communication difficulties due to general medical conditions, progressive neurological diseases, and age-related challenges.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
- Provide clinical expertise and support to patients and their families throughout the treatment process.
- Document patient progress meticulously and adjust intervention strategies as required.
- Engage in continuing professional development to keep abreast of the latest practices and research within the respiratory speech and language therapy sphere.

Requirements of the Speech and Language Therapist/SLT:

  • Degree or equivalent within Speech and Language Therapy and HCPC registration
  • Recent UK/NHS post qualifying experience working as a Speech and Language Therapist
