Location: Barking, but also attending the SEN schools
Banding/Grade: Band 6
Pay rate (Assignment rate): £30 per hour
Contract Length: 3-Months
Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday, 09:00 am - 17:00 pm or 08:30 am - 16:30 pm (37.5 hours per week/7.5 hours per day)

Duties:
- Supporting the complex health needs of students attending special school with implementing care plans, staff awareness sessions and competencies
- Being responsible for own workload, working closely with the wider MDT, Supporting Paediatric clinics, undertaking growth reviews, supporting junior staff
Requirements for the School Nurse role:
- Nursing degree in Children's Nursing with active NMC Registration
- Experience of working with Child and Young People with SEN and complex medical needs
- Post reg experience, ability to travel across the borough, excellent communication skills
- Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding procedures, ability to work autonomously
