We have an exciting ongoing opportunity for a Band 6/7 Speech and Language Therapist specialising in paediatrics based in the vibrant city of Leeds, UK. With a salary of up to £30 per hour, this role offers flexibility as both full-time and part-time positions will be considered. This locum position will have you working across multiple sites, providing a dynamic work experience in mainstream schools and clinics throughout Leeds.

What you will do:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop therapeutic programs for children with speech, language, and communication difficulties in mainstream schools and clinics across Leeds.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and healthcare professionals to create bespoke intervention plans tailored to each child’s needs.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Provide training and support to school staff and families to help them facilitate continued development and support for children’s communication skills.
- Document and maintain accurate records of interventions and patient progress.

Requirements:
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) is essential.
- At least 2 years of experience as a speech and language therapist within paediatrics.
- A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are preferable to reach multiple sites efficiently.
