The salary for this permanent Lead Respiratory Physiologist job is £37,764 - £49,893 per annum.

Duties:
- Be a clinical lead for the Respiratory diagnostic service
- Support the department by performing non-invasive cardiac investigation
- Performing resting 12 Lead ECGs, ECG (Holter) Monitoring & Analysis, ZioPatch Monitoring, Event Monitoring, Blood Pressure Monitoring, Exercise Testing, and Administrative duties
Requirements of the Lead Respiratory Physiologist:
- Have RCCP / ATRP registration and have extensive knowledge in performing, analysing and reporting pulmonary function tests, cardio-pulmonary exercise tests, allergy testing, CPAP and Sleep Studies
- Be aware of ARTP, BTS, SCST and NICE guidelines and to carry out all procedures in accordance with these nationally agreed guidelines and policies of the department and hospital
- BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent
- ALS (desirable) or ILS
- RCCP registration
- ARTP or equivalent
- Experience as independent practitioner in respiratory investigations
- Able to perform a wide range of non-invasive investigations independently
- Understanding of respiratory procedures and techniques
- Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing
- Leadership skills
- Teaching skills
