Job Title: Lead Occupational Therapist

Salary: Up to £50,952 per annum (dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

What You Will Do:
- Leadership: Provide clinical, professional, and operational leadership for the Occupational Therapy service, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
- Collaboration: Work closely with multi-disciplinary colleagues across the hospital to enhance integration and improve patient care.
- Specialised Assessments and Treatment: Deliver highly specialised and advanced assessments, treatments, and management plans for patients.
- Compliance: Ensure all practices and services meet local and national standards, including the COT Standards for Practice and the Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct.
- Quality Improvement: Engage in service quality improvement initiatives, including investigations and clinical audits, to enhance service delivery.
- Student Supervision: Oversee student placements, providing guidance and mentorship to developing professionals.
- Representation: Attend site meetings, including Clinical Governance and Patient Safety, representing the Occupational Therapy department and participating in regional OT meetings.
- Budget Management: Manage identified budget responsibilities, including the therapy activity budget.
