Position: Lead Nurse in Substance Misuse - Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:
- Part of the senior leadership team, working closely with the service manager to deliver high-quality clinical services
- Develop and maintain integrated pathways for individuals requiring treatment for health issues related to addiction
- Implement and oversee immunisation and vaccination programmes to combat blood-borne viruses, providing guidance to professionals managing drug and alcohol-related issues
- Ensure compliance with clinical governance and national guidelines
- Contribute to audits and improvement of clinical standards and practices
- Establish and maintain effective partnerships with stakeholders, promoting clinical services
- Lead the clinical aspects of new developments and provide direction to the nursing team
- Support team learning and development, fostering a culture of shared good practice
- Assist in implementing policies and managing risks to ensure efficient and safe service delivery
- Collaborate with the lead doctor to plan and implement individual treatment programmes
