High Intensity Psychological Therapist Pay Rate: Negotiable

Duties:

  • Conduct safe, timely, and courteous clinical duties as assigned
  • Assess and determine the suitability of psychological interventions
  • Formulate, implement, and evaluate therapy programs
  • Facilitate skills workshops and maintain comprehensive clinical records
  • Coordinate care plans with clients, carers, and other professionals
  • Participate in clinical audits, research projects, and multidisciplinary meetings
  • Provide supervision and specialist advice to other professionals
  • Contribute to the teaching and training of mental health professionals
  • Provide supervision to other staff as agreed
  • Adhere to professional standards and maintain confidentiality
  • Engage in continuing professional development (CPD) and attend relevant conferences/workshops
  • Participate in service improvement initiatives

Requirements of the High Intensity Psychological Therapist:

  • Core professional qualification in psychology, nursing, social work, or occupational therapy
  • Accredited Psychological Therapist
  • Valid driving license
  • Flexible working attitude, compassionate, and strong communication skills
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Post Graduate Diploma from High Intensity IAPT Course (desirable)
  • Demonstrable experience in mental health services
  • Ability to manage own caseload and time
  • High standards in written communication
  • Experience with routine outcome monitoring and teaching/liaising with professional groups
  • Experience in a Primary Care setting (desirable)
  • Proven track record in meeting clinical outcome targets (desirable)
