Duties:
- Conduct safe, timely, and courteous clinical duties as assigned
- Assess and determine the suitability of psychological interventions
- Formulate, implement, and evaluate therapy programs
- Facilitate skills workshops and maintain comprehensive clinical records
- Coordinate care plans with clients, carers, and other professionals
- Participate in clinical audits, research projects, and multidisciplinary meetings
- Provide supervision and specialist advice to other professionals
- Contribute to the teaching and training of mental health professionals
- Provide supervision to other staff as agreed
- Adhere to professional standards and maintain confidentiality
- Engage in continuing professional development (CPD) and attend relevant conferences/workshops
- Participate in service improvement initiatives
Requirements of the High Intensity Psychological Therapist:
- Core professional qualification in psychology, nursing, social work, or occupational therapy
- Accredited Psychological Therapist
- Valid driving license
- Flexible working attitude, compassionate, and strong communication skills
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Post Graduate Diploma from High Intensity IAPT Course (desirable)
- Demonstrable experience in mental health services
- Ability to manage own caseload and time
- High standards in written communication
- Experience with routine outcome monitoring and teaching/liaising with professional groups
- Experience in a Primary Care setting (desirable)
- Proven track record in meeting clinical outcome targets (desirable)
