Healthcare Assistant - Ambulance Service (Adult)

Location: Nottinghamshire

Pay: £14.60 to £20 per hour

We are offering ongoing positions. We are looking for Healthcare Assistants to support joint temporary escalation spaces in acute hospitals. This vital role involves caring for adult patients conveyed to the Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham via ambulance, who are awaiting transfer into ambulance arrivals or assessments. Shifts are scheduled for 07:00 to 23:00, available 7 days a week on a full-time basis.

What you will do:
- Assist adult patients in mobilizing and meeting elimination needs
- Provide personal care, addressing fluid and nutrition requirements
- Undertake observations and conduct visual assessments of patients
- Communicate and support the clinical team, ensuring exceptional patient care
- Attend induction and orientation training on NEWS 2 assessment, physical observations, pressure area risk assessment, manual handling, role clarity, and ED department orientation
