Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency has a new permanent position available for a Functional Family Therapist within the Children & Family Community Services Team to work full time based in Guernsey.
The salary for this permanent Functional Family Therapist job is up to £56,090 per annum.
Main duties:
- To complete Functional Family Therapy Child Welfare training on appointment with a commitment to adhering to the model to ensure a high quality of services are provided.
- To deliver assessments and interventions in accordance with the Functional Family Therapy Child Welfare programme where there are escalating issues and concerns, which lead to poor outcomes for family members.
- To attend and participate in regular clinical supervision.
- Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with other relevant agencies to ensure families are provided with the optimum opportunities to effect positive change.
- To ensure that all areas of practice comply with Children Law and other related legislation, regulations, policies, and guidance and ensure that all statutory requirements and professional standards are met.
- Produce accurate, clear, and concise case records in manual and electronic form.
- Establish and maintain effective links with other internal and external agencies, utilising specialist skills and knowledge as required.
- Interpret and work within legislative and regulatory frameworks and policies and procedures.
- A willingness to work flexibly within hours that are mutually agreed with families participating on the programme.
Requirements of this role:
- Social work qualification with registration with Social Work England.
- Experience in managing social work caseloads and supervising others.
- Experience of community and/or group work.
- Knowledge of children’s health and social care systems, agencies, and relevant legislation.
