  • Local Authority Experience: Extensive background in street scene, waste management, highways, and managing substantial public contracts.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead Waste Management Initiatives: Manage the Council’s Waste PFI contract, ensuring compliance with legislation and meeting national/local recycling and waste reduction targets.
  • Serve as Responsible Officer: Take on the role of Nominated Responsible Officer for the Council’s Transport Services Operator Licence.
  • Promote Environmental Sustainability: Work with colleagues to implement services that contribute to sustainable environmental improvements.
