Locum Community Psychiatric Nurse in Adult Services in Ashton-under-Lyne UK, earning £26 Hourly. Full time determined by core hours of 9am-5pm Monday - Friday, though flexibility around start and finish times is available. Options such as 8am-6pm for 4 days a week, 8am-4pm, or 9am-6pm are possible. Part-time positions will be considered. Ongoing opportunities are available in this role. What you will do:
- Be responsible for the co-ordination, commissioning, and personal delivery of tailored packages of care for a caseload of service users within our secondary care service.
- Conduct initial assessments of new referrals to the service, ensuring each individual receives the appropriate level of care.
- Step into the role of shift coordinator as needed, overseeing duty work and filling in for the manager or deputy manager during absences.
- Navigate challenges that arise within the team to maintain high quality and standards.
- Provide supervision and support to junior staff members, nurturing their development and performance.
