Sanctuary Personnel is currently seeking an experienced Band 7 Clinical Expert to take on a new locum opportunity based in location, within the Living Well Network Alliance.
Location:
Contract Type: Locum, ongoing block booking.

Pay Rate: £31 per hour (assignment rate)
Main Duties:
- Act as Care Coordinator for a small caseload of complex cases, using evidence-based and client-centred principles to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions.
- Ensure clinical practices are evidence-based and that staff have the appropriate training to support the service user group.
- Support and supervise allocated staff, providing regular appraisals and development opportunities in line with personal development plans and service needs.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant mental health legislation, including the Mental Health Act 1983 and other pertinent regulations.
- Collaborate with the Team Leader to manage team finances within budget and address cost pressures.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of care, ensuring dignity, cultural sensitivity, and continuity of service for all users.
- Support effective communication and collaboration within the multidisciplinary team and with external agencies.
- Uphold Trust policies, manage resources efficiently, and ensure all information is stored securely in compliance with the Data Protection Act.
- Ensure adherence to Health and Safety regulations, providing necessary training for staff.
- Deputise for the Team Leader when required, ensuring continuity in leadership and service delivery.
Requirements of the Clinical Expert:
- Registered Nurse (Mental Health/Learning Disability) or other professional registration e.g. Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Psychology
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience (desirable)

Experience of implementing and monitoring standards of care.

Experience of providing clinical and managerial supervision.

Experience of working within a multidisciplinary team.
