The salary for this permanent Chemotherapy Nurse job is £38,480 - £42,640 per annum.

Main Duties:

  • Administer a variety of haematological and solid tumour chemotherapy treatments as specified in patient care plans, maintaining professional standards.
  • Act as an ambassador for patient-focused care, providing high-quality nursing tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Document all clinical data accurately and report adverse drug events following the correct protocol.
  • Build lasting relationships with patients, carers, and stakeholders to support treatment and recovery.
  • Maintain and demonstrate up-to-date knowledge, addressing any gaps in clinical competency.
  • Ensure compliance with all business policies and procedures.

Requirements of the Chemotherapy Nurse:

  • Registered General Nurse (RGN) qualification.
  • Qualified in administering cytotoxic drugs.
  • Proficient in cannulation.
  • Experience in conducting clinical assessments.
