What you will do:

  • Provide specialist assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for adults with acquired speech, language, communication, and swallowing difficulties.
  • Work autonomously within the professional standards set by the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT).
  • Manage a complex caseload of long-term adult conditions, including dementia.
  • Collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, engaging in team development and service improvement.
  • Act as a specialist resource in the community for other therapists and professionals, supporting those working with adults and older people with speech, language, communication, or swallowing disorders.


The ideal candidate will be HCPC registered, with at least two years of experience in adult speech and language therapy. A driving licence is preferable for this role.
