This role is full time and permenant based out of Ipswich paying £27,969 per annum.
As the Assistant Service Manager, you will work closely with the Service Manager to lead and manage the service, ensuring it reflects the organisation’s mission, vision, and values. You’ll play a key role in:
- Supporting individuals with tailored, person-centred care while ensuring compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements.
- Leading and mentoring the team, promoting a positive and open culture of continuous improvement.
- Managing financial performance, including budgets, staff costs, and non-staff expenditure.
- Acting as a representative for the service in the community and maintaining strong partnerships with stakeholders.
- Ensuring the service achieves the best measurable outcomes for the people we support.
This role may also require stepping in for the Service Manager when they are unavailable, including taking responsibility for compliance with relevant regulations.
We are looking for a compassionate and motivated individual who has:
- Experience working with vulnerable individuals (e.g., learning disabilities, autism) and leading teams.
- Knowledge of sector regulations and legislation, and a willingness to work towards relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 4 RQF Diploma).
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and IT proficiency, including Office 365.
- A full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle (highly desirable and may be essential for some locations).
