We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our Hospital Services team, where you will play a key role in delivering high-quality care in the Emergency Department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and support in assessing, planning, and delivering patient care within designated areas.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of practice, addressing any factors that may impact the quality of care.
- Implement risk assessment strategies and take appropriate actions to minimize identified risks.
- Analyze data from various sources to guide decision-making and enhance service delivery.
- Lead and promote patient involvement in planning, delivering, and evaluating care.
- Stay informed about developments in contemporary nursing practice and healthcare policy.
- Uphold professional standards as outlined by the NMC Code of Conduct and support staff in maintaining these standards.
- Facilitate effective communication between the practice area and other relevant departments or agencies.
- Maintain clinical expertise through hands-on care one day a week on a supernumerary basis.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with significant emergency care experience at a senior level.
- Approved Teaching/Mentoring Qualification.
- Degree in a related field.
- Master’s degree in Advanced Clinical Practice.
- Non-Medical Prescribing qualification.
- Current EPALS/ALS certification.
- Management Qualification.
- Royal College of Emergency Medicine Advanced Clinical Practitioner Credentialing as an Associate Member.
- Proven leadership in coordinating care for patients with complex, undiagnosed conditions in emergency care.
- Evidence of high-level communication skills, including multidisciplinary team collaboration and liaison with external agencies.
- Experience in performance reviews, recruitment, selection, and other HR functions.
- Familiarity with Emergency Quality Improvement indicators.
- Exemplary interpersonal and leadership abilities.
- Strong commitment to professional and clinical excellence.
