What you will do:

  • Collaborate with service users to assess their needs, identify options for meeting those needs, and develop appropriate support plans.
  • Conduct safeguarding enquiries and take the necessary actions to protect vulnerable adults from harm or abuse.
  • Provide crucial support during complex social and family crises, making informed decisions to ensure the safety and well-being of service users.
  • Work closely with service users, their families, and other professionals to develop and implement care plans that enhance autonomy and well-being.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and procedural frameworks, such as the Care Act 2014, to maintain lawful and ethical practices.
  • With a strong social work value base, bring your relational and strengths-based approach to this role, demonstrating sound assessment skills, professional curiosity, and the ability to challenge constructively.
