Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency has a new permanent position available for an Supervising Social Worker within the Fostering Team to work full time based in Waltham Abbey.
The salary for this permanent Supervising Social Worker job is up to £36,000 per annum.
Main duties:
- Supervise and support a caseload of between 8 -10 families, and their placements, completing all necessary recording and reporting documentation.
- Direct work with children and young people to support better outcomes and stable placements.
- Attend meetings and liaise with professionals to ensure positive outcomes and safeguarding of children in placements.
- Assist in undertaking initial visits, as required.
- Actively promote, develop and deliver training programmes which support the development of our foster carers.
- Promote the agency externally ensuring that the agency’s policies to offer a professional, high-quality fostering service.
- Working in an out of hours rota.
Benefits of the role:
- Salary £33,000 - £36,000 per annum (dependant on experience)
- Hours per week: 37 Hours a week
- 28 Days Annual leave plus statutory Bank Holidays

Requirements of this Supervising Social Worker job:
- A social Work Qualification or equivalent
- Understanding of relevant legislation
- Continual professional development
- Social Work England registered
