Sanctuary Personnel are looking for a Staff Nurse to join our client's Oncology Unit at their private centre, currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC. This dedicated private centre treats private patients with a full range of diagnostic, inpatient, surgical, day case, and outpatient treatment all on one site.

They individualise care to the need of each patient, providing full treatment plans from diagnostic assessments to surgery, chemotherapy and anti-cancer drug therapies, radiotherapy, and supportive care.

As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for supporting the experienced nursing team to assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate high standards of specialist care to ensure that patients are cared for in a safe, caring, and comfortable environment. This will include meeting their medical, physical, and emotional needs by effectively communicating with the patient and their families.

They will support you to develop your knowledge and skills in oncology specialist nursing, which includes being trained to administer Systemic Anti-Cancer Treatments (SACT), stem cell administration, and various new anti-cancer treatments. What you’ll bring:

  • NMC Registered Nurse
  • NHS or Private Hospital experience
  • Post-registration experience within oncology setting desirable
