What you will do:
- Lead therapeutic group sessions focused on enhancing speech and communication skills.
- Build effective one-to-one relationships with service users, encouraging their engagement and empowering their recovery.
- Manage a designated caseload with a mix of theoretical and practical approaches, ensuring to complete assessments, plan and implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes in line with care plans.
- Demonstrate specialist skills in managing complex cases, incorporating cultural and linguistic considerations to develop strategies for caseload management.
- Undertake audits and contribute to research efforts to enhance treatment provisions.
- Apply specialist knowledge specifically focused on mental health care services.
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- HCPC registration
- Proven experience in managing a caseload involving the assessment and treatment of dysphagia
- Experience working with families
- Evidence of continuing professional development
