The high-tech multi-agency office has good transport links into Central London and is easily assessable via the M25, A10 and A406.

The salary for this permanent Social Worker job is up to £48,060 per annum.
Main duties:
- To use skills, knowledge and understanding of practice within the area of specialism to support and deliver in the development of service provision by:
- To make appropriate use of local, departmental, and independent resources
- Maintain high standards of professional practice within your own workload
- To use advanced skills, knowledge and understanding of the area of specialism to assist in the development of service provision and promote independence, choice, and control for service users
- Carry out all duties within a quality and equalities framework based on Council policy and performance targets, professional standards, and best practice
- Practice supervision for students on placements.
- Provide support to Care Co-ordinators as required.
- Ensure high quality standards are upheld throughout all aspects of assessments and service delivery.
- Implement the Safeguarding Adults Policy & Procedure.
- Adhere to the councils health and safety policies.
- Keep abreast of developments in all relevant areas concerning professional practice, relevant legislation and Central Government guidance.
- Manage, monitor and review care plans involving users and carers, liaising with other workers and agencies as appropriate.
- Complete appropriate forms and documents as required.
- Utilise the management information systems, including information technology, in the recoding, retrieval and analysis of information as required by the department.
- Undertake the preparation of reports, statements and other such legal documents that may be required.
- Work jointly with the administrative officers, seeking to improve the knowledge and practical applications of the systems.
- Undertake initial assessments within the area of specialism.
- Carry out assessments and to undertake care management in the area of specialism in accordance with Group eligibility criteria.
- Undertake assessments, care management and service provision on behalf of the Group, as specified in relevant legislation.
- Be aware of the resources available within the specialist area, including other sources of funding, so that the maximum benefit may be obtained for service users within budgetary resources of the group.
- To be managed and receive supervision from the immediate line manager.
- To be assessed against agreed standards and targets.
- Undertake training as required.

Requirements of this Social Worker job:
- A Social Work Degree or equivalent.
- Understanding of relevant legislation.
- Ability to engage, coach and motivate teams and set clear targets and expectations.
- Experience of successfully managing performance and providing clear constructive feedback.
- Continual professional development.
- Social Work England registered.
