The Reablement Team is on a transformation journey, and we are seeking a talented and experienced Social Worker to join us to support the changes that are taking place and assist the team in moving forward.
Location: Bromley, 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home.

Pay Rate: £32 per hour (assignment rate)

Duties:
- Visit clients face to face and the current hybrid arrangement is 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home.
- Work according to the relevant legislation for people in need of support.
- To have the ability to assess and review people in receipt of care and support
- The successful candidate will be working with partner agencies and will be required to maintain good working relationships.
- Undertake care act assessments, MCA’s and best interest assessments and may also be required to provide supervision/support to less experienced staff.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant frontline experience in Social Services within the UK working as a qualified Social Worker
- Some experience of supervision is desirable but not essential.
- Expected to undertake appropriate training and be responsible for their continuing professional development.
- Awareness of budgets and current constraints
- Demonstrates an ability to use information technology effectively and promptly.
- Demonstrate appropriate understanding, knowledge, and skills in valuing equality, diversity and inclusion.
- You must hold a current driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
- Satisfactory DBS required.
- Excellent report writing and computer skills.
- Experience of working within a multidisciplinary framework and need to have good negotiating skills.
