Job Title: Locum Social Worker - Older Adults Disabilities Team
Location: Shrewsbury, UK
Salary: £34.00 hourly - Full-time, 37 hours per week
Contract Duration: 4 months
This is an exciting opportunity for a Social Worker to join the Older Adults Disabilities Team in beautiful Shrewsbury. In this role, you will earn a competitive rate of £34 per hour on an umbrella basis, while working full-time hours over the next four months. You will be part of a dedicated team, collaborating with professionals such as Social Workers, Social Care Practitioners, Occupational Therapists, and Health Colleagues. As a Social Worker within this team, you will be engaging in comprehensive assessments, fulfilling care act responsibilities, and actively contributing to the Multi-Agency Protection of Vulnerable Adults procedures.

What you will do:
- Conduct detailed assessments for adults with disabilities and older people, creating care plans to fit their unique needs.
- Manage care act responsibilities, ensuring that all legal obligations are fulfilled and the well-being of service users is prioritised.
- Work collaboratively with the Multi-Disciplinary Team to deliver holistic support, integrating different perspectives and expertise.
- Participate in the Multi-Agency Protection of Vulnerable Adults procedures, actively engaging in the investigation and safeguarding processes.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring all activities and interventions are appropriately logged and reported.
