Contract: 3-months location opportunity
Hours: Full-time position, 37 hours per week

Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a dynamic and adventurous Mental Health Social Worker to join our vibrant Adult Mental Health and AMHP Team. What you will do:
- Conduct Mental Health Act Assessments with precision and compassion based on recent examples and references within the last five years.
- Ensure timely response to Mental Health Act Assessments in diverse settings, including both community and hospital.
- Work closely with your team to maintain the efficient delivery of mental health services throughout the county.
- Keep the Service Manager and Team Manager informed with regular updates on activity and progress.
- Complete 117 reviews and any other duties as assigned, championing the social model within secondary mental health.
- Participate in the duty rota and be prepared to flexibly work beyond standard hours, particularly for assessments after 17:00.
- Safeguard vulnerable service users and leverage Social Services and Wellbeing Care Act legislation to commission required Care Packages and Placements.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Care Wales or Social Work England registration
- Significant frontline experience in Adults Services within the UK
- Registered and experienced Approved Mental Health Professional.
- Enrollment with Social Care Wales.
- Proven experience in conducting Mental Health Act Assessments within the last five years.
