What you will do:
- Contribute to the operational delivery of Adult Social Care services.
- Identify and assess individual needs.
- Plan and co-design individual support plans, ensuring regular monitoring and reviews.
- Effectively manage a complex and varied caseload under appropriate supervision and guidance.
- Undertake work within legislative frameworks, including the preparation of reports and representation in court settings.
- Make accountable decisions and manage risks, using professional judgement and evidence-based tools.
- Communicate effectively in complex situations.
- Represent the department in multi-disciplinary forums, occasionally taking on the role of Chair.
- Undertake direct work with service users, carers, and families following interagency safeguarding adults’ policies and procedures.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant frontline experience in Social Services within the UK working as a qualified Social Worker
