Pay Rate: £48 per hour (assignment rate)
Contract: Locum, 3-Months
Hours: Full-time. 08:40 am - 17:20 pm, Monday - Friday (flexibility required when on duty)

Duties:
- Lead and manage a team of social workers and professionals
- Provide safeguarding advice and guidance
- Oversee statutory social work services for children, young people, and families
- Step in for the Operational Manager when needed
- Ensure effective performance management and staff training
- Manage budgets efficiently
- Collaborate with partner agencies to improve outcomes
- Conduct reflective supervision and manage staff performance
- Handle complaints and commendations
- Manage social work caseloads to ensure timely service delivery
- Attend court proceedings and relevant meetings
- Conduct case audits and ensure compliance with procedures
- Implement lessons from serious case reviews to enhance practices
Requirements of the Team Manager:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Enhanced DBS check (child and adult/barred)
- Extensive knowledge of fostering regulations and standards
- Experience managing supported lodgings and post-approval support in fostering
- Strong understanding of supported lodgings regulations and Ofsted registration
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
