This role requires office presence for 2 days a week.

Duties:
- Oversee the provision of support services for fostering assessments, ensuring that children and young people in these arrangements receive high quality support.
- Managing service delivery, implementing development of the team, and ensuring statutory duties are undertaken.
- Lead and manage the Fostering team, overseeing day to day support and assessments.
- Ensure the provision of high-quality support services for carers, families, and private fostering arrangements.
- Manage a team of social workers and family practitioners.
- Work closely with the social work teams, families, carers, and multi-agency partners to ensure children's needs are met and that support services are accessible.
- Oversee assessments of needs and support plans for carers and families. - Manage resources and budgets effectively.
Requirements of the Team Manager:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Recent managerial experience, working as a TM, DTM or ATM etc.
- Significant frontline experience in Adults/Children’s Services working as a Team Manager
- Knowledge of Eclipse computer system is an advantage
- Strong IT skills a must.
- Full-clean license and access to a car – ability to travel as required.
