Team/Specialism: Leaving Care.

Pay Rate: £33.66 per hour (assignment rate)

Contract: Locum, 3-Months

Hours: Part-time 3x days a week

Main duties:

  • Play a key role in supporting the Children, Young People and Education Directorate’s senior management team in discharging corporate objectives, influencing strategic decision making, assessing and mitigating corporate risk.
  • Responsible for delivering key projects within the directorate’s improvement plan, to have accountability for delivering/supporting: 1) Project governance and project(s) delivery. 2) Savings targets. 3) Effective use of transformation investments. 4) Occasional ad hoc support for additional work
  • Tasked with developing and delivering improvement models of service delivery which deliver better outcomes across children’s services as well as achieving financial sustainability in times of reducing resources.
  • Have experience of managing multiple projects, stakeholders, and providers within a programme environment, and in a complex matrix system. Making day to day decision to ensure the project remains on track, assessing levels of risk and impact on budgetary constraints within agreed tolerances

Requirements of the Project Manager:

  • Degree or equivalent in social work
  • Current Social Work England registration
  • Significant frontline experience in Children’s Services
