As a vital member of the Children in Our Care service, you will embrace a strength-based approach and contribute to an innovative and progressive environment. We are seeking one qualified social worker, starting as soon as possible, with at least three years of experience.
What you will do:
- Provide support and advocacy for children in care, ensuring their needs are met and voices heard.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with children, families, and professionals.
- Conduct assessments and create care plans tailored to individual child needs.
- Work collaboratively with other agencies to ensure holistic support.
- Monitor and review cases to ensure continuous and appropriate care is provided.
To thrive in this role, you must have experience working with children and young people in a statutory setting, preferably within children in care teams, and have knowledge of working with those with complex needs.
