What you will do:
- Support and manage a caseload of children in care aged 0-16, implementing care plans and ensuring each child receives the necessary support and services.
- Conduct assessments and reviews of cases, ensuring that the children’s needs are accurately identified and met.
- Work collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to provide holistic and effective care.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced social workers, sharing your expertise to enhance the overall quality of care.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records that reflect interactions and progress with children and families, contributing to the overall quality assurance framework.
Requirements:
This role requires a qualified social worker who is registered with Social Work England, ideally with a foundation level systemic practice qualification and experience in working with children who are in care or have arrived unaccompanied in the UK. If you possess knowledge of national policy, strategy, and developments regarding children’s social care, alongside relevant legislation and theoretical frameworks, then you are the ideal candidate for us.
