Sanctuary Personnel are looking for a proactive and experienced Senior Facilities Officer to join the team in Wandsworth. In this key role, you will oversee the smooth operation, maintenance, and management of our facilities. You will be responsible for ensuring that our buildings and services meet the needs of the people that work in them, as well as maintaining compliance with health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day management of building facilities, including routine inspections, maintenance schedules, and ensuring all services are functioning effectively.
- Managing service contracts and liaising with external suppliers and contractors to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Coordinating maintenance works, repairs, and refurbishments, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Ensuring all health and safety regulations are adhered to, conducting regular risk assessments, and implementing necessary safety measures.
- Overseeing security protocols and responding to emergencies in a timely manner.
- Budget management for facilities services, monitoring expenditures, and seeking cost-effective solutions.
- Supporting other departments in event planning and coordinating office moves.
- Supervising a small team of facilities staff and contractors
Requirements of the Senior Facilities Officer:
- Proven experience in facilities management, ideally in a senior or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Ability to manage budgets and contracts.
- Relevant qualification in Facilities Management or a related field is desirable.
