Rate: £20.33 per hour (via Umbrella)
About the Role
Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a SEND Annual Review Officer to support children and young people (0-25) with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) through the Annual Review System Process. Acting as the key point of contact for families on behalf of the local authority, you will ensure the Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP) review process is well-coordinated, child-centred, and outcomes-focused.

Providing the right support at the right time to help children and young people achieve positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

Coordinate the EHCP amendment/no change processes related to Annual Reviews.

Work closely with children, young people, and their families to implement required changes.

Liaise with SEND Officers and other professionals to ensure a well-organised and coordinated approach.

Promote a child-centred, collaborative working style with families, professionals, and teams.

Ensure quality assurance of EHCPs and the Annual Review process.

Ensure that all identified needs in EHCPs have appropriately matched provisions and joined-up outcomes across Education, Health, and Social Care.
Essential Criteria

Experience with Liquid Logic (case management system).

Strong knowledge of SEND legislation, EHCP processes, and the Annual Review framework.

Experience working within a local authority SEND team or similar setting.

Ability to manage a high-volume caseload while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with families and professionals.

Strong organisation and problem-solving skills to coordinate multi-agency input effectively.

Experience in quality assurance and ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
