What We Offer:

  • Salary £30,000-£35,000 depending on your level of experience. Minimum of 3 year relevant experience required.
  • Work in a brand new, beautiful, modern Small Animal Hospital equipped with everything one would need including CT, endoscopy, ICU unit and high specification patient wards.
  • Work in a Hospital environment which offers 24hr inpatient care on site.
  • Work alongside a fun loving, expanded team of 21 RVN and SVN’s and 18 Vets with various post graduate certificates and advanced certificates in orthopedic surgery and medicine.
  • Large client base, diverse caseload with plenty of exposure to routines as well as advanced 2nd opinion and emergency work. The option of varied shift types across the different departments within our hospital.
  • Fantastic, highly efficient, and friendly support team of practice managers and client care advisors.
  • Full or part time role with a flexible Rota designed around your specific circumstances. Weekend work on a shared rota.
  • Life assurance 4 x annual salary, Pension scheme, Paid RCVS and BVA memberships.
  • Enhanced annual leave of 28 days including bank holidays rising to 33 days including bank holidays after 2 years’ service.

Requirements of the Registered Veterinary Nurse:

  • Must hold a relevant qualification in veterinary nursing (e.g., Level 3 Diploma or a degree in Veterinary Nursing).
  • Must be registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) or equivalent governing body.
  • Relevant clinical experience working in a veterinary practice or hospital.
  • Proficiency in general nursing duties such as patient care, administering medication, and monitoring anaesthesia.
  • Experience in handling various animal species (small animals, exotics, or large animals, depending on the practice).
  • Knowledge of animal anatomy, diseases, and treatments.
