What you will do:
- Deliver the highest possible standard of nursing care for patients and families
- Provide a welcoming, caring, and safe environment for all patients
- Manage the patient pathway including admissions, pre-operative preparation, post-operative care, and the discharge process
- Maintain legible and accurate nursing records
- Monitor and assess patients' condition, proposing and implementing changes to care plans as necessary
- Hand over and transfer care responsibility to colleagues with thorough communication
- Administer medicines and manage medicines accurately
- Implement and uphold nursing procedures according to best practice, policy, and regulatory requirements
Person Specification:
- Must be registered with the NMC.
- Demonstrable record of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
- Up-to-date knowledge of current issues in professional practice.
- Surgical nursing experience is desirable.
