Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency has a new permanent position available for a Registered Manager within the Fostering Team to work Full Time for Pilgrims Corner Fostering.
The salary for this Registered Manager job is up to £70,000 per annum.
Main duties:
- Ensure there is a Business Continuity Action Plan in place that is current and has been cascaded to all staff.
- Be fully conversant with all potential business risks and respond to any issues that may emerge.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with Local Authorities and other relevant national and regional agencies to ensure that PCF is recognised as a key provider and partner in providing family placements.
- Hold responsibility for the actions of the service and ensure that all parties are fully compliant with legislative requirements and company policies and procedures.
- Liaise with Local Authorities and social work teams to establish and develop working relationships, make presentations, and resolve placement problems.
- To support the duty and referrals team in the taking, discussing, and allocating referrals in conjunction with Social Work Staff.
- Manage foster parent retention within targets, analyse and identify initiatives to improve foster parent retention rates.
- Ensure that duty and referrals staff build effective relationships with customers and have due regard for customer care principles.
- Use available resources in the must effective and efficient manner to enhance company performance.
- Oversee student placement and ensure appropriate supervision and support is given and that there is compliance with university requirements.
- Convene regular management and staff meetings as required to ensure effective communication between all workers regarding the work of the service.
- To be pro-active in developing and supporting staff to be excellent communicators and to encourage good communication throughout all levels on the organisation, and actively promote a culture of realism, engagement, and openness.
- The post holder may be required to travel extensively and spend nights away from home in pursuit of their duties.
Requirements of this Registered Manager job:
- A social Work Qualification or equivalent.
- Understanding of relevant legislation.
- Registered or eligible for registration.
